This world´s first features the Kangaroo, one of Australia's most famous landmarks. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from 5 ounces 99.99% pure gold in proof quality. The design shows a kangaroo and a kangaroo cub in the background. To the left and right of the two kangaroos two Australian grass trees are pictured. The inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO" - "5oz 9999 Gold" and the year of issue "2020" are also included in the coin design. The reverse features the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination.
