The gold bullion coin honors one of the most unique fishes in the ocean - the Seahorse. The motive of the coin struck from one ounce of 99.9% pure gold depicts an image of a seahorse with it's tail wrapped around a part of a plant. The background shows stylized graphics of waves and air bubbles. Also included in the design are the inscription "Caribbean Gold", the year of issue and the fineness. The reverse of the gold coin features the Barbados coat of arms. Seahorses live in almost every ocean and mostly in the deepest part of the sea.
