The seventh release in the Series 'Fairy Tales' of the Lithuanian Mint was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and is dedicated to Cinderella. The motive was partially minted in color and features Cinderella on the right side as a graceful princess hurrying from the prince's ball in her fancy pink dress. She wears a tiara made of sparkling SWAROVSKI® elements on her head. The left side depicts the heroine of the fairy tale in her everyday life as a maid for her step-family. The entire design is framed by the dial of a clock. The reverse shows the Public Seal of Niue as well as the denomination and the year of issue.

The story of Cinderella originates from the collection of French fairy tale poet Charles Perrault published in 1697. The story is about a young woman who breaks free from the oppression of her stepfamily and, through her beauty and virtue, wins over the prince. The folktale is intended to highlight the fact that it is not only beauty and outward appearance that counts, but also inner values such as kindness, diligence and honesty.
