Princess Diana was born Diana Frances Spencer on July 1, 1961, and married Prince Charles, the direct heir to the throne of Queen Elizabeth II, on July 29, 1981. Diana assumed numerous duties under the sign of the crown and showed extremely high social commitment. It was important to her to use her position wisely and to make the world a better place with the help of charity projects. Because of her pronounced compassion and warm-heartedness, Diana was given the nickname "Queen of Hearts". Even when her marriage to Prince Charles initially crumbled and eventually divorced, public interest in Diana did not wane. On August 31, 1997, she died in a tragic car accident in Paris. On July 1, 2021, she would have been 60 years old. The strictly limited Diana - Princess of Wales 5 Oz silver coin with rose gold plating is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
