The Silver coin is dedicated to the Platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck from five ounces of 99.9% silver in proof quality, the motive centrally shows the acronym "EIIR" and the inscriptions "QUEEN ELIZABETH II" and "1952-2022". Surrounding the central motive are the coats of arms of Scotland, Ireland and England arranged in a circle. Above is the royal crown, in which a genuine diamond was set. The national symbols - rose (England), shamrock (Northern Ireland), thistle (Scotland) and leek (Wales) - are also part of the design. The decorated edge of the coin shows the inscriptions "PLATINUM JUBILEE", "SERVICE" and "DEVOTION". The reverse shows the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty as well as the denomination, year of issue, weight and fineness.

70 years ago - on February 6, 1952 - Elizabeth II ascended the throne for the first time at the age of 25 and was crowned queen at Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953.
