This extraordinary coin from the series Chinese Mythical Creatures was struck by the Perth Mint from two ounces of 99.99% pure silver and features a white tiger surrounded by Asian maple trees with their famous red colored leaves. A mountain range can be seen in the background. The design also includes the Chinese character for "Tiger". According to Chinese mythology, the white tiger is considered one of the four legendary creatures guarding the heavens. Legendary stories say that he will appear when the emperor rules with unimpeachable goodness and morality, or when peace reigns in the world. On the reverse of the coin, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is shown. The year of issue 2022, the weight and fineness as well as the denomination are also depicted. The Antique finish gives each coin an individual look. The texture of the surface is reminiscent of an antique artifact, which further emphasizes the uniqueness of the coin. The limited silver coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
