This wonderful four-coin set "Auspicious Culture - luck symbols" was struck 2017 by the People’s Bank of China from 99,9% gold in proof quality. The „Jian Kang Chang Shou” (Longevity) gold coin features peaches and bats, symbols of good fortune, with wordings ‘Wu Fu Gong Shou’ in Chinese, literally ‘five blessings surround longevity’. The “Sheng Er Yu Nv” (Offsprings) gold coin features pumpkins, vines, gourds and butterflies, with wordings ‘Gua Die Mian Mian’ in Chinese, literally ‘plentiful offsprings like vigorous plants’. The “Mei Man Hun Yin” (Heart) gold coin features crossing-neck mandarin ducks and twin lotus flowers, with wordings ‘Bing Di Tong Xin’ in Chinese, literally ‘twin lotus flowers on one stalk and devoted couple with one heart’. The last gold coin “Ji Xiang Xing Fu” (Surplus) features a girl holding lotus flowers and koi carps, with wordings ‘Nian Nian You Yu’ in Chinese, literally ‘may every year end with plentiful surplus’.
