The third issue of the Disney™ - Chibi Series is dedicated to Daisy Duck™. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality. The special feature of this coin is its special shape in "Chibi Art" style. Chibi figures are characterized by their disproportionately large head and a relatively small body. This strongly belittles the depicted characters. The unusual Chibi shape makes this silver coin a highlight for every Disney™ fan and coin collector. The reverse shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and year of issue. The mintage is strictly limited to only 2,000 pieces worldwide. Daisy™ is an animated character created by Walt Disney and is one of the most famous characters in the Walt Disney universe. After making her debut in the Disney cartoon "Don Donald" in 1937 - at that time still as "Donna Duck" - she appeared for the first time as Daisy Duck in the short film "Mr. Duck Steps Out" in 1940. She is engaged to Donald Duck™ and is very good friends with Minnie Mouse™. She has remained true to her clothing style to this day - she traditionally wears a pink hair bow, a blouse with puffed sleeves, pumps and a bracelet.
