The fifth issue of the Disney™ - Princess Gemstone Series is dedicated to Aurora - also known as Sleeping Beauty. The coin was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver. The motive features a delightful colored image of Aurora with her golden hair. In the background are stylised images of Aurora's castle and the fatal spinning wheel. Also included in the coin design is a heart-shaped pink gemstone. The reverse shows the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and the year of issue. The Disney™ Aurora coin is delivered in an acrylic coin case and the original Disney™ packaging with a certificate of authenticity from the New Zealand Mint.
