The 50 Euro gold coin from Lithuania was struck from a 1/4 ounce of 99.9% gold and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Lithuanian State Constitution. The motive features an abstract depiction of the democratic foundations of the state structure enshrined in the Constitution of the State of Lithuania. Also included in the design are an inscription to the occasion of issue and the number "100". The reverse shows a stylized symbol of the coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, Vytis. Below are the denomination, the year of issue, and the mint mark of the Lithuanian Mint. Along the top edge of the coin is the inscription LIETUVA (LITHUANIA). The Lithuanian Constitution of 1922 came into force on August 1st, 1922. It was the first democratic constitution of the independent Republic of Lithuania in the interwar period. The mintage of the Lithuanian commemorative coin in proof quality is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide. The coin will be delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
