Vatican City has issued this Euro coin on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa of Calcutta. The motive of the coin features Mother Teresa holding a small child in her arms. The inscriptions "CITTA' DEL VATICANO", "1997-2022" and "MADRE TERESA DI CALCUTTA" are also included in the design. Mother Teresa of Calcutta was born in 1910 in Skopje, present day northern Macedonia, and dedicated her entire life to helping and protecting those most in need. The commemorative coin in uncirculated quality is delivered in a blistercard.
