Is there a local EMK store? Is it possible to pick up my order on-site?
We are exclusively an online business and do not operate a retail store. Local pick-up of orders is also not possible.

What kind of products are offered?
Our product range includes limited premium gold coins, silver coins, and platinum coins, as well as various investment/bullion coins in gold, silver, and platinum. Additionally, we have an extensive assortment of gold bars.
Moreover, our online shop offers a wide range of accessories. From capsules and coin pouches to slipcases, there is a vast selection available.

Are the prices adjusted according to the current precious metal prices?
Investment/bullion coins and gold bars are automatically recalculated every five minutes based on the current gold price of the exchange.
How do I know if an item is available?
All products labeled as "in stock" are physically available in our warehouse and can be shipped to you immediately after payment.
What does the release date mean for some items?
These coins have not yet been issued by the mints. The date mentioned refers to the release date at the mint.
In the case of pre-sale items, is it guaranteed that I will receive my ordered coins?
We only sell coins for which we can guarantee delivery. For these types of items, the mint has assured us of the quantity available for order. Exceptions apply only in cases of force majeure.
Why can't I order some coins listed under "Pre-sale / New releases"?
To inform our customers about new products, we upload them in our online shop as soon as possible. Sometimes the preliminary work for the release of the item might not be finished, hence the item can't be ordered yet.
Can I reserve coins in advance?
We cannot accept reservations for items.
Why do I find coins in the online shop that cannot be ordered?
We endeavor to offer our customers coin issues over a longer period of time in order to be able to close “gaps” in a series. However, due to mintage limits, it can happen from time to time that coins are temporarily out of stock or unavailable. As we are constantly looking for such coin issues and also buy/re-purchase them, it is quite possible that we will be able to offer them again in the future.
Where do the coins come from and who are the manufacturers?
Many coins come from state and/or private mints with whom we have had a long-term distribution agreement. These include, among others, the South African Mint, the Perth Mint, the Royal Australian Mint and the New Zealand Mint. An overview of all mints can be found here.
Does EMK guarantee that the coins are genuine?
A majority of the coins come directly from mints as well as from coin dealers with whom we have maintained long-term business relationships. Every coin undergoes a comprehensive goods receipt control, where we pay attention to both the quality and authenticity. Furthermore, many limited premium coins come with an authenticity certificate issued by the mint.
What does "Wanted" mean on products

Order Process
Do I have to register to place an order?
Registration is required to place an order in our store.
What information is required for an order?
For order processing, we need a legally valid billing and delivery address. The necessary data includes your first and last name, as well as the respective address.
Can I order anonymously?
It's not possible to place an order anonymously.
Can I also order by phone or via email?
An order by phone is possible within our business hours under the phone number 02235 / 9273747. Please send orders via email to: service@emk.com - Please note that for email orders, a separate confirmation will be made for order acceptance.
Is there a minimum order value?
Yes, the minimum order value is 50.00 Euros. The method of ordering (whether by phone, via email, or through our online store) does not affect this.
Can I combine multiple orders into one delivery? Or is there an option for a collective order?
Due to largely automated processes, we cannot combine multiple orders. Unfortunately, we cannot process collective orders.
My order contains pre-order items. Is it possible to have a partial delivery of the items in stock beforehand?
Delivery for orders is always made to match the extent of the order placed. We do not perform partial pre-deliveries.
The pre-order item in my order has just been marked as "available" in the webshop. When will my order be shipped?
Your shipment will be handed over to the shipping service provider as soon as possible, but at the latest after 2-3 business days. This depends on the current order situation, weekends, etc.
Can I revoke/cancel my order?
You can revoke your order up to 14 days after receipt at the latest. Excluded from this are items which, according to § 312 g Abs. 8 BGB, are subject to reduced revocation rights for investment products. Relevant items are specially marked in our webshop. Can I change the order afterwards?
Due to largely automated processes, subsequent order changes are not possible.
When does my order become legally binding?
Upon submission of the invoice, the purchase contract becomes legally valid.
What happens after I place my order in the online shop?
Depending on the payment method chosen and items ordered, there will be an immediate shipment for your order. For pre-order items, which will be issued/available in the future, the shipment will occur directly after the products are received.
I placed an order but have not received a confirmation or invoice. What can I do?
Order processing/invoice transmission for orders occurs within our business hours (Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00). If you haven't received a confirmation email within approximately 2 hours during these times, please contact our customer service.
What is Trusted Shops, and how can I secure my order with it?
Trusted Shops is an external service provider through which consumers can additionally secure their online orders. Can the price change during the order process?
Due to the automated calculation for precious metal products, the price might change during order placement. The determining factor is the price at the time of payment for PayPal/credit card or on the transmitted order confirmation.
Is there a subscription service for coins/coin series?
We do not offer a subscription service for coins or coin series in our webshop. If you're interested in such a service, please call our catalog service at 02235 9273747.
Shipping Information
What shipping costs can I expect?
Within Germany, we only charge 5.95 euros for shipping for orders up to 100 euros. We charge 4.95 euros for orders up to 500 euros. From an order value of between 500 euros and 2,500 euros, we only charge 3.95 euros for shipping. From an order value of 2,500 euros, we deliver to you free of charge within Germany!

Is the shipping insured?
All shipments are insured against acts of force majeure.
Which shipping service providers do we work with?
Depending on the value of the goods and the target region, we ship with the service providers DHL, FedEx, or by secure transport.
Can I schedule a delivery date for my order?
Using the package's tracking number, you can schedule a preferred delivery date with the shipping service provider. If you'll be away for an extended period, on vacation, etc., please contact us at the time of placing the order. We're happy to delay the shipment until your return.

Will I be informed about the shipping and can I track my delivery?
As soon as the shipment is handed over to the logistics partner by us, you will be informed about the shipping status via email. In this email, you will find the respective tracking number of the package, with which you can track the delivery route.
Is the order packaged securely?
Shipments are securely and neutrally packed and are declared as package shipments.
How long does it take to ship my order?
This depends on the logistics partner and the target region. Within Germany, delivery usually takes place two days after handing over the shipment to the transport service provider.

I'm ordering from abroad; are there any additional costs?
For orders within the EU, there are no additional costs. For orders outside the EU, customs charges may apply, which are the responsibility of the buyer. Additionally, fees may arise due to currency exchange.
Can I redirect the package to a third person, or can another person receive the package on my behalf?
We ship to the address provided at the time of order placement. There is no ID check at the time of delivery.

When do I have to pay for my order?
For payment by credit card and PayPal, the payment amount is due immediately. For payment by bank transfer, the payment term is 5 business days.
