The third issue of the Classic Superheroes Series is dedicated to Aquaman™. Struck by the New Zealand Mint from a 1/4 ounce of 99.99% pure gold, the motive features a classic depiction of the superhero in a powerful pose. To his left is the iconic Aquaman logo. The coin's weight and fineness and the copyright are also included in the design. The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "25 DOLLARS", "ELIZABETH II", "2022" and "NIUE".

Known by his real name Arthur Curry™, Aquaman™ made his first appearance in 1941.
