On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of James Bond, the Perth Mint has issued this gilded silver coin. Struck from 2 ounces of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality, the motive features a combination of the 60th anniversary emblem and the signature Bond 007 gun logo. As a special highlight, the coin was selectively gilded in 24-carat gold. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination, the fineness, the weight and the year of issue.

The successful Bond series began in 1962 with the film "Dr. No™". At that time, Sean Connery embodied the Secret Service Agent.
