The gold coin features the Australian Kangaroo, one of Australia's most famous landmarks. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from a 1/4 ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality. The motive depicts an adult Kangaroo in a crouched position with the native Australian plants Waratah and Kangaroo Paw in the background. The inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO" and "1/4 Oz 9999 Gold" as well as the year of issue "2021" are also included in the design. The reverse shows the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination. The strictly limited Australian Kangaroo gold proof coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
