This silver coin Diana - Princess of Wales is a tribute to the "Queen of Hearts". Minted from one ounce of 99.9% silver in proof quality, the colored motive features a portrait of the smiling Lady Di. Also included in the design are rose vines, whose blossoms have been plated with rose gold, giving the coin an exceptionally classy look, as well as the inscriptions "DIANA" and "Princess of Wales". The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the monetary denomination, year of issue and fineness. Princess Diana was born Diana Frances Spencer on July 1, 1961, and married Prince Charles, the direct heir to the throne of Queen Elizabeth II, on July 29, 1981. Diana assumed numerous duties under the sign of the crown and showed extremely high social commitment. It was important to her to use her position wisely and to make the world a better place with the help of charity projects. Because of her pronounced compassion and warm-heartedness, Diana was given the nickname "Queen of Hearts". Even when her marriage to Prince Charles initially crumbled and eventually divorced, public interest in Diana did not wane. On August 31, 1997, she died in a tragic car accident in Paris. On July 01, 2021, she would have been 60 years old. The limited silver coin with rose gold plating is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
