The new issue of the STAR TREK™ - The Original Series depicts in striking colours the key members of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Crew - Captain James T. Kirk™, Spock™ and Dr. Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy™. Next to them is their spaceship - the Enterprise™ - as well as the traditional mintmark 'P' of the Perth Mint. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from 2 ounces 99.99% pure silver. On the reverse of the proof coin the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the denomination, the fineness and the year of issue are depicted. The limited silver coin is delivered in the original box of the Mint, which lights up blue when the lid is opened.
