The Krugerrand is a timeless symbol of South Africa´s distinctive heritage. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Krugerrand the South African Mint has issued the Krugerrand coin for the first time in Platinum. All anniversary coins feature a round Privy Mark with the inscription "50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY 1967-2017". This one ounce platinum proof coin was graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) to be an excellent Proof 69 Ultra Cameo. The Krugerrand platinum coin comes well protected in a slab.
