This rare gold bullion coin Mickey Fantasia was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of 99.99% gold. The motive of the coin features Mickey as a magician from the 1940 eponymous cartoon "Fantasia", in which he first appeared as a main character. The film is based on the poem 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and centers on a young man who abuses magic and cannot control it anymore. Mickey also abuses magic and causes great chaos. On the obverse are the inscriptions "1 oz 9999 Fine Gold" and the Disney™ copyright. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions '250 DOLLARS', 'ELIZABETH II', '2019' and 'NIUE'. The strictly limited gold bullion coin is delivered in a capsule.
