Eat or get eaten. The silver coin is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the cult video game PAC-MAN™. The popular arcade game originated in Japan and was first released on May 22, 1980. The plot of the game revolves around the eponymous protagonist PAC-MAN™ - a yellow, puck-shaped character whose task is to eat dots in a maze. While doing so, he is pursued by four colorful ghosts with big eyes, from which he must escape. The colored motive of the uncirculated silver coin features the PAC-MAN™ 40th anniversary logo as well as a scene from the game in the background. Also included in the design are the weight and fineness and the copyright PAC-MAN™ & ©BNEI. The reverse features the seal of Niue, the denomination and year of issue, as well as other iconic elements from PAC-MAN™ along the edge of the coin.
