The Kangaroo is one of the most popular representatives of the Australian animal kingdom and one of the most famous landmarks of the Australian continent. This Australian Kangaroo gold bullion coin was minted by the Perth Mint from one ounce 99.99% pure gold. The 2026 motive features two kangaroos leaping through shallow water. In the background, water ripples, splashes, and a distant mountain landscape can be seen. On the smaller coins, the privy mark with the number “40” commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Australian Nugget. The motive also features the inscription “KANGAROO” and the Mintmark “P”, which refers to the Mint Perth Mint. Details of the year of issue, weight and fineness complete the design. The reverse shows the Dan Thorne portrait of King Charles III and the denomination. The gold bullion coin is delivered in a protective capsule.
