The 2023 Mini Roo coin was struck by the Perth Mint from 0.5 gram of 99.99% pure gold. The motive features an adult kangaroo in the foreground and a eucalyptus tree and grass trees in the background. The weight, fineness, year of issue and the traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint are also included in the design. The reverse depicts the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the dates of her reign and the denomination. The Mini Roo gold coin is housed in a protective capsule and presented in a colorful blistercard from the Perth Mint.
