The bullion coin was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint from one ounce of 99.999% pure gold and is dedicated to the Bobcat. The motive features the head of a bobcat. The inscriptions "CANADA", "FINE GOLD 99999 1 OZ OR PUR" and a small Maple Leaf are also included in the design. The reverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. - With a length of about 60 centimeters, the bobcat is the smallest of all lynx species. Its natural distribution area extends from southern Canada to northern Mexico. Due to its short tail, it is known as "Bobcat". The 200 Dollar Canadian gold coin is delivered in the original blistercard from the Royal Canadian Mint.
