In 2014, the Royal Canadian Mint starts a new gold coin series with the first issue of the “Howling Wolf”. The subjects are dedicated to Canada’s fauna. The coins of this unique series are struck in an absolute pure fineness. A strongly limited proof edition of the “Howling Wolf”  is also available for collectors, mintage only 2,000 coins.  The coin series is named after the same title novel, written by the American author Jack London.
