The motive depicts a combination of the portraits of the British national figure Britannia and the American Liberty. Britannia, a warrior-like female figure in armor, is symbolic of the country's patriotism, while Lady Liberty represents the free and creative spirit of the American people. The design also includes the inscription "BRITANNIA AND LIBERTY" as well as details on weight, fineness and year of issue. The reverse shows the portrait of King Charles III as well as the denomination. Limited to 10,000 pieces worldwide, the Britannia & Liberty gold bullion coin is delivered loose.
