The 2025 edition of the American Gold Eagle was minted by the US Mint from a 1/4 ounce of gold in uncirculated quality. The motive features Lady Liberty walking confidently against the sun's rays. She holds a torch in her right hand and an olive branch, which symbolizes peace, in her left hand. The American bald eagle is depicted on the reverse. After the American Gold Eagle was issued with a new design for the first time in 2021 on the occasion of its 35th anniversary, this issue also presents the new appearance of the classic. The new design was created by Jennie Norris and depicts an impressive close-up portrait of an eagle, surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "1/4 OZ. FINE GOLD - 10 DOLLARS". The popular American Gold Eagle bullion coin is delivered loose.
