Struck by the Royal Australian Mint from 1 ounce of 99,99% pure gold the Bottlenose Dolphin Bullion Coin shows a jumping dolphin. The background features the sun disappear behind the distant horizon. The inscription "BOTTLENOSE DOLPHIN" and "1 oz .9999 FINE GOLD" are on the edge of the coin´s obverse. The reverse shows the monetary denomination and the new Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Bottlenose dolphins are the most common members of the family of oceanic dolphins. They live in groups in all the oceans of the world. The mintage of the Bottlenose Dolphin gold coin is stricktly limited to only 250 pieces worldwide. The coin comes in the original box with a certificate of the RAM.
