The kangaroo is without doubt one of the most famous representatives of the Australian animal world. The 2014 design for the 25th Anniversary of the Australian Kangaroo coin shows a full-grown, jumping kangaroo framed by stylised rays of sunlight. In addition, the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO", "1989 - 2014" and "1 oz 9999 GOLD" can be seen. The reverse shows the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from 99.99% pure gold with a mintage of 65,000 coins. The kangaroo gold coin is delivered in a protective capsule.
