The bullion coin STAR WARS™ - Darth Vader™ was struck from one ounce of gold and features an officially licensed image of the Sith Lord Darth Vader™ with his lightsaber. Darth Vader™ (Anakin Skywalker) is one of the main characters in STAR WARS™. As Anakin Skywalker he originally was the student of the Jedi knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. He was also educated as a Jedi knight before being turned to the dark side of the force and taking on the identity of Darth Vader™. The coin design includes the inscription '1 oz 9999 Fine Gold, the copyright of Lucasfilm Ltd. and the logo of the New Zealand Mint. The reverse features the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions 'ELIZABETH II', 'NIUE', '250 DOLLARS' and '2019'.
