The third issue of the Nautical Ounce series is dedicated to the historic sailing ship Victoria. The Victoria was part of a Spanish expedition commanded by Ferdinand Magellan. The expedition began on September 20th, 1519 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. The Victoria was the only ship to complete the voyage, returning on September 6th, 1520. All other four ships sunk trying the circumnavigation. The uncirculated gold coin shows a picture of the Victoria on the high seas and a compass in the background. The motive is framed by the inscriptions 'NAUTICAL OUNCE', '2019', '1 oz FINE GOLD 999' and 'Victoria'. The reverse of this coin features the coat of arms of Rwanda and the denomination. The strictly limited gold coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate.
