The kangaroo is one of the most popular representatives of the Australian wildlife. The motive of the 2019 Australian Kangaroo gold coin features a kangaroo crouching in front of a rural landscape in the Australian Outback. The design also includes the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO", "2019 1/4oz 9999 GOLD" and the traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint. The Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination "25 DOLLARS" are depicted on the reverse. The gold coin was struck by the Perth Mint from a 1/4 ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality. The mintage is strictly limited to only 500 pieces worldwide. The coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
