The set is dedicated to one of Australia's most famous landmarks - the kangaroo. The five coins were struck by the Perth Mint from 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/10 and 1/20 ounces of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality. The motive of each coin features an adult kangaroo and a kangaroo cub in the background. The inscription "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO", the year of issue "2020", the weight and the fineness are also included in the coin design. The reverse of all coins feature the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination. The mintage is strictly limited to only 200 sets worldwide. The 2020 kangaroo gold proof set is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
