The kangaroo is surrounded by the inscriptions "10 DOLLARS" and "1/10 OUNCE .9999 Au". The reverse presents the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the state of issue "AUSTRALIA" and the year of issue "2014".

First issued in 1993, the Kangaroo coin is one of the most famous issues from the Royal Australian Mint's coin program.
