The Kangaroo is one of the most popular representatives of the Australian animal kingdom and one of the most famous landmarks of the Australian continent. In the foreground, the first kangaroo lies relaxed on the ground, while the second kangaroo hops happily through the landscape in the background. The motive also shows the inscription “KANGAROO” and the Perth Mint's Mintmark “P”. Details of the year of issue, weight and fineness complete the design. The reverse shows the Dan Thorne portrait of King Charles III and the denomination.
