The 2025 Mini Roo coin was struck by the Perth Mint from 0.5 gram of 99.99% pure gold. The motive depicts an adult kangaroo lying on the ground in a relaxed position. Kangaroos remain in this position during the day to conserve their energy in the heat of the Australian sun. The motive also features the inscription “KANGAROO” and the Perth Mint mintmark “P”.
