This gold coin celebrates the "King of the Outback" and one of Australia's most famous landmarks - the Kangaroo. The coin was struck by the Royal Australian Mint from 1/10 ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality and is limited to only 3,000 pieces worldwide. The motive features a kangaroo looking over his shoulder. The background depicts the Australian sun, as well as other minimalistic and geometric shapes of the outback. The design celebrates the great Australian impressionist movement "The Heidelberg School" and reflects, through the evocative style, the play of light and shadow unique to Australia's flora and fauna. The reverse features the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the year of issue "2022".
