This Kangaroo coin set celebrates a true Australian icon on five stunning gold coins. The coins are struck by the Perth Mint from 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz and 1/20oz of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality. In 2019, The Perth Mint will release no more than 500 sets in this wooden box. Each coin depicts an adult kangaroo crouching in front of a rural landscape, framed by stylised trees under the Australian sun. The design includes the inscription 'AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO', the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the 2019 year-date, the weight and fineness. The Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are depicted on each coin’s obverse. The 2019 Kangaroo gold proof coin set is housed in a prestigious wooden display case with a themed shipper and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
