The mintage is limited to only 10 pieces worldwide. The motive features the sixth Wedge-Tailed Eagle design of the famous engraver John M. Mercanti. It depicts a swooping Wedge-Tailed Eagle with a snake in its talons. In addition, the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE", "2021 1 KILO 9999 GOLD" and the traditional Mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint are included in the design. The reverse shows the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination. The strictly limited 1 kilo Wedge-Tailed Eagle Incused High Relief gold coin is delivered in the original wooden box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
