This issue of the new Australian Lunar Series III is dedicated to the Year of the Mouse. The high relief coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure gold. The motive features a colorized image of a mouse foraging on husks of corn. The traditional Mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint, the inscription "Mouse 2020" and the chinese sign for mouse are also included in the coin design. The reverse presents the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the weight, fineness and denomination of the coin. The mouse is the first of 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac calender. The strictly limited Lunar III - Year of the Mouse high relief gold proof coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
