The 2023 edition of the Australian Lunar Series III of the Perth Mint is dedicated to the Year of the Rabbit. The rabbit is the fourth animal in the Chinese lunar calendar. The fourth issue of the 12-year Lunar III Series features a colored image of a leaping rabbit among grasses. The design also includes the Chinese character for "Rabbit", the inscription "RABBIT 2023" and the traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint.
