The third and final issue of the Series Beauty, Rich & Rare was struck by the Royal Australian Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality and is dedicated to the Twelve Apostles. The convex side of the domed coin features a partially colored depiction of the legendary limestone rocks. The inscriptions "TWELVE APOSTLES", "2023 BEAUTY, RICH & RARE" and the denomination "$100" complete the design. The domed shape of the Gold coin adds depth to the design, creating a particularly realistic effect. The reverse shows a further depiction of the limestone rocks. The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the weight, fineness and the inscription "AUSTRALIA" complete the design.

The Twelve Apostles are up to 60 meters high limestone rocks standing in the sea. They are located in Port Campbell National Park in the Australian state of Victoria. The Twelve Apostles are limestone pillars that were once connected to the cliffs of the mainland. They rise out of the Southern Ocean, along Australia's famous Great Ocean Road. Waves and wind first formed caves, then arches, and finally columns 45 meters high. They are one of the most famous sights of the red continent.
