The coin was taken from the 4 x 1/4 Oz gold coin set "Port Phillip Gold Pattern" and shows a motive of our choice. Struck from 99.99% pure gold in proof quality, this exclusive coin pays homage to the original designs of the first Australian kangaroo bullion coins, also known as the "Port Phillip Pattern". The last surviving examples are highly sought-after by collectors and have an extremely high collector value. In addition to the kangaroo, the design also features the inscriptions "PORT PHILLIP", "AUSTRALIA" and "1853-2023" as well as the weight and fineness of the coin. The reverse presents the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the years of her reign, the denomination "25 DOLLARS" and the inscriptions "PURE AUSTRALIAN GOLD" and "AUSTRALIA 2023".
