The gold coin in proof quality was issued by the Austrian Mint and is part of the series "Viennese Music Legends". This issue is dedicated to Franz Schubert and features a portrait of the early Romantic composer wearing nickel glasses and a Biedermeier suit. Also included in the design is the staff of the Trout Quintet, the inscription "FRANZ SCHUBERT", as well as his birth and death dates and signature. The reverse shows one of the legendary Schubertiades, where the musician invited his friends to a soirée in the salon. Details of the state of issue, year of issue and denomination are also included in the design. The limited commemorative coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
