The gold coin in proof quality was issued by the Austrian Mint and is part of the series "Great Composers". The third and last issue is dedicated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and features a portrait of arguably Austria's most important composer and a depiction of his father, Leopold Mozart, in the background. The inscription "LEOPOLD WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART 1756-1791" completes the design. The reverse shows a view of Getreidegasse in Salzburg with Mozart's birthplace. Details of the state of issue, year of issue and denomination are also included in the design. The limited commemorative coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
