The third and final release of the Canadian Coastal Series is dedicated to the second largest ocean on earth - the Atlantic. The gold coin was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint from one ounce of 99.999% pure gold in proof quality and is limited to only 400 pieces worldwide. The motive features symbols and animals of Canada's east coast. The reverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "CANADA" and "D. G. REGINA". The strictly limited gold proof coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the Royal Canadian Mint.
