This extraordinary 200 $ gold proof coin from the Royal Canadian Mint is dedicated to the famous "Queen Elizabeth Rose", which was cultured in the year of Her Majesty's coronation. On the motive of the coin is a 13 mm 3D rose, made of 18-carat rose gold, which resembles the original pink Queen Elizabeth Rose. This special rose variety was cultivated by Walter Edward Lammerts and has been named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II in 1954. The reverse of the coin shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "200 DOLLARS" and "D-G-REGINA". The strictly limited gold coin is delivered in the original wooden box including a certificate of authenticity.
