The African Wildlife Series is characterized by an annually changing motive and is very popular with investors worldwide. Struck from 5 ounces of 99.99% pure gold in proof quality, the coin depicts the African Wildlife Elephant motive from 2023 in the center, which is surrounded by the previously released issues in smaller designs, making a total of 25 elephant designs on the coin. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT", "5 oz" and the fineness "Au 999.9" as well as the 25th anniversary emblem. The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms, which depicts a shield with a star supported by two leopards.
