The new Somalia Leopard 2021 of the popular African Wildlife Series was struck from one ounce of 99.95% platinum. The African Wildlife series from Somalia is released annually with a changing leopard motive and is extremely popular among collectors and investors worldwide. The motive depicts a leopard standing on the branch of a tree. In the background the African steppe can be seen. The inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE", "LEOPARD" and "1 oz Pt 999.5" surround the design. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of the Republic of Somalia, which depicts the Somalia flag and two leopards. The denomination and year of issue are also included in the design. Together with lion, tiger and jaguar, the leopard belongs to the most graceful and powerful big cats on earth.
