To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Krugerrand coin, the South African Mint has struck this special release from one ounce of platinum. To date, more than 55 million 1 Oz gold coins of the Krugerrand have been minted. Thus, the Krugerrand is the world's most popular gold coin. The Jubilee coin has the classic design from 1967 and has been provided with a Privy Mark "50 Years Anniversary 1967-2017". The small mintage of only 2,017 coins lends this special edition its particular exclusivity. The anniversary coin will be delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the South African Mint.
