The successful landing of United States spacecraft Apollo 11’s Lunar Module Eagle on the Moon has been watched by more than half a billion people on TV. The $1 silver coin portrays a representation of the Lunar Module Eagle behind a large footprint on the Moon’s surface. The design includes the inscription 'MOON LANDING 1969-2019'. The obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions 'ELIZABETH II', 'AUSTRALIA', '1oz 9999 Ag' '2019' and '1 DOLLAR'.
